Ep 2065: On the Road to Kingdom Advancement
It’s amazing how God can use us when we simply open ourselves to Him. John Cummings, Founder and CEO of ASAP Express, gives testimony to this fact in the latest episode of iWork4Him. Maybe John’s journey started out a little “rocky” with spotty church attendance and a lukewarm faith, but God faithfully led him down a path to deepen his faith after attending a Man Up men's retreat, where he learned about the impact of human trafficking. This experience transformed his outlook on life and business.
John explains how he incorporated Christian values into ASAP’s core mission, which included donating to anti-trafficking organizations and openly sharing his faith at work. Despite concerns about losing employees or clients, his business grew, attracting like-minded customers and employees.
John points out that among Muslim Americans, money is reinvested an average of 14 times before leaving the Muslim community. In Jewish communities, 7-8 times, and for Christians only 1.5 times. This led to his involvement in the Christian Network Movement, which encourages Christian-led businesses to support one another in advancing the Kingdom.
