God At Rest

We work all day, and then we drive to soccer practice or a church event or some other community thing. The reality is that we are usually busy and tired. Today, we’re talking with Rich Marshall, the host of “God at Work” on God.TV and author of the book by the same title about his latest book: “God at Rest.”

Rich spent years teaching everyday workers about taking their ministry into their Mondays, and now he is asking can we live a life with both work and rest? According to Rich, yes! Work isn’t the opposite of rest – it is a part of our designed purpose, meant to be experienced in partnership with rest. And ultimately, rest originates with God’s presence.

Tune in to learn more about incorporating rest into your workday through listening to God, partnering with the Holy Spirit, and intentionally inviting Jesus into your everyday tasks.

NE Christians At Work

In the northeast, they call themselves “New Englanders”; I call them a hardy bunch. The weather is tough and the culture even tougher, but there is a light rising in the east, and it’s NE Christians at work. Today we’re talking with Drew Crandall about all God is doing in the NE.

In 1999, Drew heard God’s voice calling him to minister to the everyday workers who need inspiration and encouragement in their day jobs. He started NE Christians at Work with the mission of ministering to a broader cross-section of employees, not just business owners and CEOs.

NE Christians at Work is a virtual, all-volunteer, non-profit ministry that provides resources that encourage, inspire, and equip people to be Christ-like at work. One of these resources is a FREE email devotion called the “Salt Mine” – created to help keep you engaged and supported daily at work! Sign up to receive this excellent resource at Christatwork.org.
