Failure to Plan is a Plan to Fail

As we rapidly approach an end to another unbelievably fast year, we are faced with the beginning of a new year. 2017! How did it get here so fast?  There were so many things I wanted to get done in 2016 but here I am at the end of another year with things still on my list.

Next year is going to be different!

I am sure of it…or am I.

I am a planner. I love lists and I love checking things off my lists. I put WAAAAY too many things on my list. Are all the items on my list from God?  In 2017, I am going to do a better job helping us find intentional peace and rest while accomplishing all that God intends us to accomplish. How am I going to do this?  I am going to do what Jesus did.

Mark 1:35 (NLT) 35 Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.

When you study the life of Jesus you find He was never in a hurry and always got done what His Father wanted Him to accomplish.

John 17:4 (NLT) 4 I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.

To succeed this year in completing the tasks the Lord gives you – start the day with Him.

Happy New Year from Jim and Martha Brangenberg!!
