Toxic Workplaces
Do you work in a toxic workplace? Is it your boss or a co-worker that creates the toxicity? Do you ever contribute to the toxicity?
What are we to do when work just sucks the life out of us?
I recently read a book called “Rising above a Toxic Workplace” by Paul White. There are many reasons a workplace could become toxic.
As a Christ Follower, our response is the key.
We serve God who is all powerful and almighty. He can overcome anything and He has already won the Ultimate battle over sin in our lives. So let’s fight this battle on His terms.
Fighting a toxic workplace does not utilize conventional warfare. This battle will be fought from our knees. Usually the issue stems from hurt in the lives of those around us who are toxic.
Right now, start praying for those people.
Ask God to give you His love for them. Pray for open doors to minister to those toxic people. Fight a toxic workplace on your knees. It is the only way.
Next week – “When is it okay for me to leave a toxic workplace”
