Let's Read!

I love to read.

There are so many great books from which to learn, study, and relate.  This past weekend, I finished two books that I want to tell you about and encourage you to read for yourself:

“Where is God at Work?” by William Morris

This book is a practical guide for believers in the workplace.  This great read focuses on learning how to see God in our workplace and how to be used by God in our workplace.  Mr. Morris is from the UK with prior work experience in the US.  His perspective is unique, as a priest in the Church of England and tax accountant for GE Worldwide.  Plain and simple ideas come from the pen of Mr. Morris. My favorite example came from his dissection of the Parable of the Talents and how it relates to you and me.   Mr. Morris will be a guest on iWork4Him on Monday, March 13, 2017.

“Workplace Grace” by Bill Peel and Walt Larimore

This book is a handbook on how to bring your faith to work.  They teach effective relationship evangelism for the workplace.  Their simple approach to bringing our faith to work make this a top recommendation for you all.  Bill Peel’s interview on Thursday, March 9, 2017, will cover this book as well as his work at the Center for Faith and Work at Letourneau University in Texas.  Bill’s leadership in the faith and work movement has impacted our country and the iWork4Him radio program.

We LOVE to promote book purchases through your local independent Christian retailer whenever possible;  if that’s not an option, then both books may be purchased online.

Happy reading, iWork4Him Nation!
