I was reminded this week that the Enemy is very clever.  He wants to keep our focus on things of the past:

Hurt, Fear, Regret, Etc.

I heard a pastor say “The Fear of the Past is not able to cancel the Promise of the Future”.  How often do you and I get stuck in the past?  I often look at my past and am tempted to wallow in regret and fear of making the same mistakes. 

Fear and regret are tools of the enemy.

Satan wants us to focus backward and OUR LORD wants us to focus not just forward but on HIM.  He holds the future and redeems the past.  Let’s not get stuck on Fear and Regret, which are not from God. Fear and Regret are from our arch enemy who wants to destroy our potential. 

The Lord uses our life experiences to shape us into the followers He can use more effectively.  

Jesus came to give us life so that we can live it to the full. Live focused on Him and His love will erase all fear and regret.
