Awaken Podcast Network (APN), is a collaborative web app created to assemble and display on demand podcasts dedicated to the Christian Faith and Work Movement.

Information for Podcasters applies to our mobile and desktop web app, all related players, widgets, tools, features, applications, data, dashboards, back-ends, APIs (collectively, the “App“) and use of them.

The App allows podcasts, RSS data, and other content (collectively, “Content”) available to listeners across the globe. 

The App works primarily within the open, standard world of podcasts. 

  • A podcast is considered “open” if it publishes an RSS feed on a URL that conforms to the standard that most podcast apps expect.

  • The App reads from these RSS feeds, allows APN to add its own feed URL, and plays content directly from your server. This process does not interfere with the content at all.

APN does not control or monitor the podcast content made available in the App by RSS, other than to make it available, and does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of such content.

Inclusion in APN Podcasts

To be included in APN, simply submit your podcast RSS feed to Jim@iWork4Him.com . Before you submit, make sure that your show has a name, description, artwork, and a well-formed feed.

All Content provided through the use of APN shall be consistent with APN’s intended Christian faith and workplace related themes. APN shall have the full and unrestricted right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether any material contained in any part of the podcast content meets this criterion.

We neither endorse content nor assume any responsibility to monitor, review or edit podcast content for any illegal or offensive material contained therein, any infringement of third-party Intellectual Property Rights arising therefrom or any crime facilitated thereby. We reserve the right to remove any Content uploaded, posted, stored or transmitted using the App that we reasonably believe contravenes the statements contained in this Info.

Featured podcasts

APN offers various opportunities to become a featured podcast including, but not limited to:

·         Featured category placement = $100 a month with a 12-month commitment.

·         Banner Super-Featured website placement for $500 a month. 

Paywalls

Any attempt to use our App to launch a paid subscription model to podcast content or otherwise lock-down access to content behind a paywall without written approval from APN is strictly prohibited.

Copyright Policy

  • We respect the intellectual property rights of others. In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, we may terminate and/or disable a Customer suspected to be infringing the copyrights (or other intellectual property rights) of others. Additionally, in appropriate circumstances and in our sole discretion, we may remove or disable access to material on any of our Apps or hosted on our systems that may be infringing or the subject of infringing activity.

  • In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512 (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to us by clicking the “Contact Us” link on our Website.

  • If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner) and believe that your work’s copyright has been infringed, please report your notice of infringement to us by providing us with a written notification of claimed infringement that includes substantially the following information:

    • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;

    • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single Website are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that Website;

    • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;

    • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted;

We will investigate notices of copyright infringement and take appropriate actions under the DMCA. Inquiries that do not follow this procedure may not receive a response.
